Lee Tynan

Food Development Director

Lee heads up the Food Development teams at Creative Foods Europe having developed his culinary skills in the early part of his career at the De Vere Hotel Group. Lee has an experienced background in food development including roles at the McCormick Group, Brakes, Authentic Foods and prior to joining Creative Foods Europe as Head of Product Development at Morrisons, managing the Fresh/Chilled and manufacturing division. Lee brings a proven track record in product development and innovation to the business and works closely with a number of Creative Foods Europe’s major customers. 

Neil Helyar

Head of NPD Culinary & Sourcing

Neil heads up the culinary team based at Creative Foods Europe head office. Neil joined the business in 2007 having previously worked for the Rank Group and Bourne Leisure. Neil’s background has given him an invaluable insight into the foodservice market, which, coupled with his chef skills and innovative ideas has made him a real asset to the business. Neil is well supported by a strong team of experienced chefs, Nick Harris, Matt Cox, Adam Dobbs and George Lowe.

Max Grandison

Head of NPD at Oasis Foods & Calder Foods

Max joined the business from British Pepper & Spice in 2012. Armed with a BSc (Hons) in Food Bioscience, coupled with extensive experience of process development Max’s contribution to the Oasis and Calder Foods NPD programmes has been significant. Max works closely with his team at Oasis, Clare Paton and Vicki Seagrave and also at Calder Foods with Jenner Lee and Lyn Bell.


Stuart Nicholson

Head of NPD at Oliver James

Having started his career in fine dining and after a period of time working in Australia Stuart spent seven years at Kerry Foods before joining Creative Foods Europe in 2017. Stuart heads up the development teams at Oliver James where innovation, a reputation for quality and outstanding recipe formulation are key to the success of the business. The key members of Stuart’s team are Angela Cooper, Claire Wilson, Elliot Tibbins and Agata Stankova.
